How can you increase your energy?

How can you be more alert in your world?

Here's an exercise that is really simple and helps me organize my energy and focus.

Simplicity is Powerful.

Take a piece of paper. Draw a line down the middle. On the left side. Right down all the things you do that TAKE AWAY your energy. On the right side. Right down all the things you do that GIVES YOU energy.

Hint: Consider what you eat. What you read. What you listen to. Who you interact with.

Our thoughts are formless and can become chaotic in our head mixed with all the other things we have to do. When you write them down, you are forced to put them into form. It will be more clear to you where you can focus.

After this simple exercise is completed your awareness will increase and it will tell you where you need to focus. Then slowly start making small changes and doing more of the things on the right side of your list.

Track it for the week and do it again next week. In as short of a time of 2 weeks you can have yourself shift more into the right side of your list.

We can often get side tracked by daily habits that we've developed and that keeps us from doing what we really want to do and what we want to CREATE. Managing your energy will help you get in your zone.

This exercise alone helps me organize myself from a foundational level and gets me back into focus.

Tip: Start with writing down only 10 things per side. Don't get caught up trying to search too deep for things to write down. Pick your top ten per side. If you have any questions let me know. I can share my list and my experiences with you. Get in your zone. Increase your energy.
